Thy Will be Done!

There is widespread belief that as educated and intelligent people, we are above deception.  Let me tell you that nothing could be further from the truth!  On November 18, 1978, James Warren Jones, preacher and faith healer, led his Jonestown Guyana cult members in a mass murder-suicide that claimed the lives of 918 followers, 304 of them children. 

The members of People’s Temple joined of their own free will, convinced that they were embarking on the building of a mixed race utopia where they would escape the racial injustice of society.  These people were normal next door neighbor types, educated and informed.  They believed what social scientists acknowledge was a charismatic manipulator of willing participants who systematically and effectively exploited them through sophisticated types of compliance, conformity and obedience coercion. 

Society today has been manipulated in similar fashion on a much grander scale by governments, big pharma, the WHO, mainstream media and the UN into believing the human race is at risk of a potential die off of millions upon millions of people due to a virus and catastrophic climate change.  Mistrust of the “official narrative” is both rampant and warranted due to the covert nature of the funding driving the science and those who benefit from it.

The Bible tells us of an even more all-encompassing, charismatic, deceiver who will rise to world power in the last days, “and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Mathew 24:24.  “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4.

The thirteenth chapter of Revelation gives more illumination to his persona and depicts him as a beast, which he is in the eyes of God.  People will willingly worship him and willingly accept his mark, permitting them the right to buy food and carry on commerce.  Anyone refusing to accept his mark and worship him will be killed.  The antichrist will seize control over the entire world through deception and the perception that he has the tools in his toolbox to save humanity and the earth.

He will have the solution to combat climate change, pandemics and facilitate an ever elusive peace accord for the middle east.  Make no mistake, he is coming!  Israel will embrace him as their Messiah, Islam will call him their savior and Christians who are awake with situational awareness will know him as the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition.  Unfortunately, secular society will welcome him and follow him and won’t realize what has happened until it is too late. 

Today, as many church leaders call for prayer for the end of the COVID 19 pandemic, to heal the land and restore nations, we must be cognizant of this one thing.  God’s plans for the world were laid out at the creation of the universe and his promise will stand. 

The night before Christ was crucified, he was troubled and in great distress in the garden at Gethsemane.  He prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.  He prayed this prayer three times that night and afterward he was handed over to the Romans to be crucified. 

The take away lesson here is that we are at a point in human civilization that the signs preceding the return of Jesus are evident all around the globe.  The time is short!  Society today is ripe for manipulation by a charismatic political player with an agenda of world domination.  We are already moving rapidly down the path towards tyranny.  Sadly, humanity does not see it and they are too proud to admit that every secular teaching will be proven wrong (beginning with evolutionary theory).

Civilization has already eaten and drank judgement on itself and the words of Jesus will soon be fulfilled.  Once again, I proclaim the scripture, “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28.  Even so, come Lord Jesus!
